How to Apply ?

•Qualifications for Admission:

                •Doctoral Program : Foreign students with a Master's degree are eligible to apply for graduate study in Ph.D. program.

                •Master's Program : Graduate from university or from equivalent academic establishment.

•Application Process:

                The following must be received by March 10 2006:

1. Fully completed application form

2. Approval of economic ability

3. Health examination report (including HIV)

4. Two letters of recommendation (one should be from your Chinese teacher)

5. Proof of graduation from university

6. Official Transcript  from university or graduate school (in Chinese or  in English)

7. Research Plan (in Chinese)

8. Work plan after graduate (in Chinese)

9. Autobiography and resume

•Tuition•

•Full-time    NT 10,690. (~ $310US) per semester

•Part-time    NT1,470. (~ $40US) per course credit

•Scholarships•

•University Scholarships:

    NT8,000. (~ $235US) per semester

•Government Scholarships from the Ministry of Education:

    NT15,000. (~ $450US) per month for a year

•Subsidized Scholarships from the Ministry of Education:

    NT2,500.  (~ $75US)    Student must work 5 - 7 hours per week while in school
