Mr. Yasuhiro Kuroki, Vice President for International Affairs and Dean of Organization for Promotion of International Cooperation and Associate Prof. Haruo NISHINOH, Associate Dean of International Center at Doshisha University in Japan came to visit NTNU on Sep.22. They visited the Office of International Affairs(OIA);Vice President Kuo-En Chang and Dean of OIA Kun-Liang Chuang gave them a warm reception. The buildings on Doshisha campus look quite similar with those at NTNU, which is witnessed by Dean Chuang during his visit in early July. He also introduced the convenience of studying at NTNU. Vice President Chang mentioned Taiwan government’s promotion in the policy of teaching Mandarin Chinese as second language, which, NTNU plays the leading role.
Doshisha University expressed the needs of sending students abroad to study Chinese when they visited the Mandarin Training Center(MTC). Director Chung-Tien Chou(MTC) shared NTNU’s annual experience in receiving Japanese short term Mandarin study tours. The visit then ended up in a warm lunch along with PhD.
