Prof. Dr. Hideyuki Takashima（Department of Foreign Languages）and the doctoral student Ms. Saki Kakimoto from Tokyo University of Foreign Studies （TUFS） as well as Associate Prof. Mihoko Murakami（Seijoh University）from Japan, came to visit the Office of International Affairs（OIA）, NTNU, at 11:30 on Sep. 18 along with Chairman Chern, Chiou-Lan from Department of English at NTNU.

Prof. Chuang, Kun-Liang, Dean of OIA, gave them a warm reception and introduced them NTNU’s superiority in Chinese Mandarin teaching and the convenience of learning environment when studying here. They also exchanged opinions on English teaching, curriculum and teaching strategies. Prof. Takashima showed high interest in joint conference and exchange program for students and faculty. He expressed the wish to see NTNU’s faculty visit TUFS. Chairman Chern, Chiou-Lan proposed that they could start with building up the relationship of sister departments. All of them had a nice talk till the end of lunch.
