Kang ShinSeok, the Chairman of Chinese Dept. from Kunsan National University visited OIA, NTNU on Aug.5. He was given a warm reception by Chuang, Kun-Liang, the Dean of OIA, who introduced the departments and institutes related to Chinese Mandarin learning as well as the current situation about communicating with Korean universities.
Chairman Kang expressed interest in GIISS and said that most Chinese teaching professors in Korea graduated from NTNU. Kang also paid a visit to College of Liberal Arts on Aug.7. There he shared ideas with Dean Chen and Chairman Yan about future cooperation between the two schools.
KNU is at one-hour distance from Daejeon and two and a half-hour distance from Seoul. It has more than 10,000 students on the campus with the similar scale as NTNU.
