The administrative Director, Sara West Tully of International Office, University of Wisconsin, Milwaukee visited NTNU on Monday 17 March. Through the introduction by Visiting Associate Professor of Graduate Institute of Teaching Chinese as a Second Language, UM and NTNU have opened up communication and look forward to possible cooperation in the future, including Student Exchange, Faculty Exchange and Duel Degree cooperation.
The University of Wisconsin, Milwaukee is only 90 minutes away from Chicago by car, which is a nice environment for students who enjoy city life and also desire a better quality of life. Besides, as a public university, the tuition fee of UW is not as expensive as other private ones in the States. Nicknamed as the City of Festival, Milwaukee is multicultural community. Its habitants come from Germany, Ireland, Scandinavia Island, Russia, Mexico and etc. Through this meeting and better understanding of two universities, the representatives from two institutions are looking forward to the active cooperation in the future.
