
1) Taiwan Scholarship
The Taiwan Scholarship, provided jointly by the Ministry of Education and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, is mainly granted to students pursuing an academic degree program in Taiwan. If students require additional training in Mandarin before their academic program begins, the scholarship may also provide for up to one year of training at a recognized language center at any university in Taiwan. 3) Freshman Scholarship for International Students, NTNU

In order to promote the program of ¡§Elite Study in Taiwan¡¨, conducted by the Taiwan¡¦s government, the ¡§Freshman Scholarship for International Students, NTNU¡¨ is specifically set and funded by NTNU to attract more international students with academic excellence to study degree programs in this university as well as to promote globalization.

5)NTNU Scholarship for Students Recommended by Partner Universities
In order to enhance the collaboration between NTNU and the partner universities, NTNU established a scholarship for students who are recommended by partner universities and meanwhile admitted to NTNU degree programs. The granted amount for excellent students from partner universities is NTD 220, 000 in total for the period of two years. During March and April each year, more details will be announced and partner universities will be informed. Applicants should be nominated by the Office of International Affairs at our contracted partner universities. Individual application will not be processed.
