The Office of Student Discipline and Counseling (OSDC) was one of the administrative offices when Taiwan Provincial Normal College (the former name for NTNU) was founded in 1946. After the University Law was announced and enacted in 1994, the official title of OSDC was changed to the Office of Student Affairs (OSA).

The Office of Student Affairs directly oversees five divisions: Division of Life Affairs, Division of Extracurricular Activities, Division of Overseas Chinese and Foreign Student Affairs, Division of Student Affairs (College of Science), and Division of Hygiene and Health.
