The Counseling Center is established to help students to be independent, set personal goals, establish self-value, and develop career development and interpersonal relations. Also, it seeks to enhance the quality of the mental environment in the school; as part of the school structure, the counseling center takes on the roles of counselor, consultant, educator, organizer, researcher, trainer, as well as group leader.

Through prevention, development, and treatment, the three stages of protection, as well as counseling administration and the execution of training, the counseling center is dedicated to enhance the students’ overall mental health.

學生輔導中心與健康中心共同守護學生身心健康而努力，使學生在校不僅探索知識、培養專業技能，同時能依據身心發展的需要，透過專業的心理輔導或活動，增進心理健康，協助處理感情困擾，解決學習問題與積極規劃生涯發展。學生輔導中心業務項目如下：

（一）心理衛生推廣活動：心理衛生講座、班級座談

（二）個別諮商：協助學生自我瞭解，發現解決問題的方法，促進自我成長。

（三）團體諮商：透過互相陪伴，在被接納、被瞭解與信任的關係中得到繼續面對困境的力量的歷程。

（四）心理測驗(個別、團體測驗)：提供各類教育及心理測驗，並由輔導老師依據同學的需要安排合適的測驗施測並進行解釋。

（五）國際學生及外籍教師之英文諮商：提供本校國際學生及外籍教師以英文進行個別諮商、團體諮商及支持團體，協助外籍師生之生活適應，增進其身心健康。

（六）實習生訓練：提供心理諮商相關研究所研究生之實習與訓練，增進實習心理師對大專院校輔導工作運作的熟悉，培養諮商輔導人才。

（七）義工訓練：提供熱心助人之本校學生有關輔導知能之研習，以發揮師大人助人之精神與效能。
