Problem Set Archive Usage and Mirror Policy

Using the Archive

This Archive aims at providing a worldwide distributed reference repository of problem sets used in local and regional contests and worldwide final's of the ACM International Collegiate Programming Contest (ACM ICPC).

The main purposes of this archive are to facilitate

  1. Each individual's and the team's preparations for the ACM ICPC;
  2. The judge's task to create interesting problem sets for the ACM ICPC
  3. Third parties like sponsors, supporters, companies or media to get an idea what the ACM ICPC is about.

Acceptable usage therefore consists of downloading, viewing and printing single or multiple problem sets for the beforementioned purposes.

Unacceptable usage consists among others of selling single or multiple problem sets on any media (paper, CD, on-line etc.) without our explicit prior permission.

Mirroring the Archive

The main purpose of mirroring is to reduce world-wide Internet traffic and to improve accessibility to the archive.

The maintainer of the mirror is responsible for keeping the archive up-to-date; we notify the mirror hosts regularly of archive updates by e-mail. Mirror maintainers are requested to provide us with monthly access statistics to the mirrored archive (i.e. an excerpt of the web server log file with all entries stemming from access to the archive).

Unacceptable usage consists of charging for the access to a mirrored archive or mirroring parts or the whole archive without notifying us!
